Overview

 

RiverWoods is currently seeking a Full Time Front Desk Supervisor. The primary role of the Front Desk Supervisor is to oversee the daily operations of the three front desks, supervise projects as assigned, work weekly scheduled hours on the front desk, intentional excellent customer service and clerical and administrative support for the overall program of administrative services.

Responsibilities

  • Provides quality customer service with a positive attitude and commitment to teamwork while meeting the needs of residents, staff and visitors.  Supports all aspects of the RiverWoods community.
  • Create work schedule for the three front desks, review ADP against schedule and approve. Responsible for all revisions to the schedule.
  • Be involved in the work schedule at the front desk for unexpected call outs, vacation coverage and assist all desks as needed.
  • Responsible for part-time and full-time front desk staff performance evaluations as assigned.
  • Streamline business processes for all front desks and identify options for sharing the administrative load amongst the three front desks.
  • Responsible for training new front desk staff and ongoing training of existing staff.
  • Oversee the daily census reports, guest room and postage billing, and the auto attendant at all three campuses.
  • Oversee leasing statements for RiverWoods Exeter postage and copy machines.
  • Oversee employee billing for FedEx and approve as required.
  • Conduct monthly front desk meetings preparing and developing the agenda.
  • Create and/or update front desk manuals and Connections binders, Resident Handbook, RWE telephone directory.
  • Completion of assigned projects in a timely manner.
  • Approval of all supply orders for all three front desks.
  • Responsible for the general organization, upkeep and support of the front desks and entire administrative area.
  • Maintain a high degree of confidentiality when communicating with residents, guests and staff.
  • Possess through knowledge of emergency procedures and facility emergency and paging systems.
  • Work independently, efficiently, confidently and enthusiastically under busy conditions with a high degree of interruption.

This position is responsible for supervising the part-time, full-time and per diem front desk staff at all campuses carrying out supervisory responsibility in accordance with business policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include:

  • Interviewing, hiring, and training new employees
  • Assigning and directing work
  • Appraising performance
  • Rewarding and disciplining employees
  • Addressing complaints and resolving problems

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent plus continued education courses in business administration or secretarial science preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years equivalent experience preferred.
  • New Hampshire Notary preferred but not required.
